Tree Pruning
Harriott Tree Service uses pruning methods such as Drop Crotch Pruning, Cosmetic, and Hygienic to improve the natural shape of the trees. Dead, diseased, and broken wood can be removed at any time of year. However, for general pruning the best time is in late winter or early spring just before growth begins.
Quality, expert tree pruning is the cornerstone of Harriott Tree Service's residential service line. Our quality pruning, provided by trained experts, improves the health and appearance of trees, prolonging their useful life by removing undesirable branches, whether they are dead, weakened, diseased or insect-infested.
Some of the more common objectives for which we prune trees include:
- Crown reduction, crown raising, crown thinning.
- Removal of dead, diseased, or weak branches.
- To provide more clearance from branches over roofs, pools, driveways, etc.
- Thinning trees for more light to yards or to improve branching structure.
- Clean up and corrective pruning after storm damage.
